Palm Coastin'

We got back on Tuesday from a fabulous trip down to Palm Coast, FL to visit Nan & Grampy.  We couldn't have asked for better weather and company!  We left MA on Friday and returned on Tuesday so we packed as much fun in as we possibly could.  Swimming in the pool, took a walk to visit Aunt Chris, swimming in the pool, Family Fun Fest, beach, swimming in the pool, out to dinner, beach bon fire, zoo, swimming in the pool, easter egg hunt, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thanks for having us Nan & Grampy!!  We love you and miss you already!

We LOVE Jet Blue!!!  And their personal TVs in each seat.  Total no-brainer, not sure why all other airlines have not jumped on board with this one!
Grampy (the best bon fire-maker in Flagler County) and Daddy (his assistant)
Watching brother running around in the water like a nut

Awesome waves.  Couldn't believe it but it actually got TOO hot and Nick and I ventured into the waves and got blasted by a few!
Chelsea is officially obsessed with these sunglasses.  Maybe they took the place of her tutu that didn't make it into the FL suitcase.  She has even wore the sunglasses to bed a few nights!

Beach bon fire party!  I packed up all the warm clothes we had and we didn't even need them.  Sooooo nice.  There was even an impromptu fireworks show a little ways down the beach from us...and by little I mean about 6!!  Nick was in heaven though, we were finally able to convince him that the lake house is NOT the only place where you can see fireworks.

Hanging with the elephants at the Jacksonville Zoo

AWESOME Frisbee Dog show at the Family Fun Fest.  These dogs were incredible.

Family beach pic (with flabby, white stomachs conveniently hidden by children!!!)

 Trying out Aunt Chris's motorcyle

 Nick and "Easy"

                           Bed time story with Nan

Carousel ride.  Chelsea wouldn't climb aboard one of the animals!

The hot tub was AWESOME!!!  Not only for late night adult beverage time but also for when it was only 70ish degrees on Monday and the kids still wanted to "swim" - kept us from freezing our buns off!  The "talking under the water" game is great for practicing holding breath underwater.  Nick got up to 10 seconds!!!

MAJOR progress was made in the pool on our short trip.  Nick jumped off the side by himself for the first time and not to be outdone, Chelsea decided that she would too!  She is a total maniac in the water, absolutely loves it.

(Please excuse the extremely annoying voice of the lady videotaping, I need to learn how to edit out my voice!!!!)
