Alan! Alan! Alan!

This video is a riot.  Matt texted it to me and I watched it for the first time while I was on the train.  I was trying to muffle my laughter so as not to disturb the readers and the sleepers but then I ended up with tears rolling down my cheeks...people must have thought I was one of those "crazy train people".  The kids (and Ryan) absolutely love it too...they talked about it and requested viewings for days...

Nick's fave is "Nighttime...daytime!" and of course the gorilla.
Daddy's fave is the beat-boxing chipmunk.
My fave is the gopher (I think that's what it is) who keeps saying Alan!

"Field Trip"

I was a little skeptical of bowling being a field trip, especially in the spring, but it worked out great since it's rained for 5 days straight!!  And of course, Nick LOVES bowling.  I wasn't sure how I felt after learning that Nick was pretty much the only kid in his class that has gone bowling before!!  And then we got to talking with a few kids about mini golf and Nick was the only one who had done that too...are these kids sheltered or are we bringing our kids to activities before they should be going so that we can have fun too?!?!?!

Aw shucks.  Missed the 7, 10 split!!!

Nick and his buddy Jack. They were very excited to be on a bowling "team" together.

High fives after every turn...SOOOOOO cute.

Come on Mikey...get in the pic with the dudes!

They turned off the lights and put on the "crazy lights" - the kids were loving it.

Rockin' Out, Wagner Style

The kids are constantly requesting that we play "The Lightning McQueen Song", aka "Life is a Highway".  I wasn't aware that all along Nick was perfecting his moves, until this day...

Oh Tommy, you are a large pain in our behinds sometimes but you are also the funnest, strangest cat we have ever met and we love you.  Thank you for entertaining us with the MANY "instruments" that you play.
